Héctor Ochoa Ortiz
Héctor Ochoa Ortiz (ESR 13) started his research on 15 May 2023 in the department of Computer Science and Mathematics at University of Camerino. His research focuses on public services that use open data, and how they can be co-created between governments and companies. The current linear paradigm of open data should be transformed into a circular one, where governments and companies both create and use open data, so public services can adapt to their user needs. Firstly, a comprehensive literature review will be performed, reviewing co-creation related theories, open data-related theories and public service literature. The current status of public services, in relation to co-creation with open data, will be analyzed with case studies. The ultimate goal of Héctor’s topic is developing a governance framework for co-creation of public services, and to test the developed framework with practitioners.
