Silvia Cazacu-Bucica

ESR03 (KULEUVEN)

Silvia started as ESR3 on 1 January 2022, joining the Division of Geography & Tourism of the Faculty of Science at KU Leuven University in Belgium. Here, she carries out research financed through the Spatial Applications Division (SADL). Her PhD research is supervised by Thérèse Steenberghen and Glenn Vancauwenberghe. She works on the topic of value co-creation in data ecosystems. So far, she performed research on (data) ecosystem mapping tools and approaches, while she is also developing a conceptual framework for her study. She has followed the courses Human Computer Interaction Design, Digital Public Governance and Advanced Geography and Tourism. She joined SPIDER Summer School for Open SDI in Zagreb, Croatia and the first ODECO training week in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Currently, Silvia is carrying out her secondment at the TU Delft, where she works on problematizing value on (open) data ecosystems and develops her research through design methodology.
