Hendrik Ploeger

Associate-professor at the department of Urbanism, faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.

Hendrik Ploeger is associate-professor at the department of Urbanism, faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. He graduated in Dutch law at Leiden University and in civil and notary law at VU University of Amsterdam. In 1997 he obtained his PhD on the subject of 3D land ownership. In the same year he carried out a comparative legal research at the E.M. Meijers Institute of Legal Studies at Leiden University on the subject of bored tunnels and the rights of landowners.

 

Since 2001 he has been affiliated with Delft University of Technology. He is also Visiting Fellow at VU University of Amsterdam. His areas of research include human rights, land law, land registration and cadastre, open data and more in general the legal and governance aspects of the data driven city.
